Hugh M. Wilson

Hugh M. Wilson is the senior member of the Caldwell County Bar, engaging in the general practice of law in Lenoir for more then fifty years. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, cum laude, and received his law degree from the Wake Forest School of Law in 1956. He served as an active member of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Mr. Wilson has served as President of the Caldwell County Bar Association, Chairman of the N.C. State Board of Elections, Chair of the Caldwell County Community College Board of Trustees, member of the N.C. Occupational Health and Safety Review Board and various committees of the N.C. Bar Association.

David S. Lackey

David S. Lackey has practiced law in Lenoir, North Carolina since being admitted to the bar in August of 1981. He is a graduate of Duke University, B.A. 1977, cum laude, and the University of North Carolina School of Law, 1981. Mr. Lackey maintains a general civil law practice, including real estate (both transactional and litigation), general civil litigation and appeals, business law, personal injury and family law. He has also served as County Attorney for Caldwell County since December of 1990. Mr. Lackey has served as President of the Caldwell County Bar Association and the 25th Judicial District Bar.

Timothy J. Rohr

Timothy J. Rohr

Timothy J. Rohr’s clients benefit from his more than 17 years of practice in Caldwell, Catawba, and Burke counties. He has knowledge gained from hundreds of prior cases and clients, and has represented people with many different backgrounds and from all walks of life. He is well-respected in the local legal community as an active and zealous advocate for his clients.

Mr. Rohr’s experience includes:

Defending hundreds of clients in District Court cases: DWI, speeding and other traffic matters, misdemeanors, and felony hearings.
Representing hundreds of clients in Superior Court for felony and misdemeanor cases (including jury trials) and probation hearings.
Defending juveniles and advocating for parents in juvenile court.
Pursuing appeals to the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Representing clients in arbitration, mediation, and small claims court, including debt and lease matters.
Advocating for clients in child custody, child support, equitable distribution, and alimony matters.
Mr. Rohr is admitted to practice in North Carolina, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an undergraduate in 1991 and from law school in 1994. He is married with two children.

Mr. Rohr is an active member of the Caldwell County community. He is Mayor Pro Tem of the Lenoir City Council, currently serving his third term as a council member with that body. He has taught legal courses at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute as well as Sunday School classes at his church. He also twice has served as Caldwell County Bar Association President.


Timothy J. Rohr

Destin C. Hall 

Destin C. Hall is a general practice attorney representing clients in Caldwell, Catawba, Burke, and surrounding counties.

 He is a graduate of Appalachian State University, where he majored in finance and insurance, and he earned his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.

 After graduating from Wake Forest University School of Law, Destin C. Hall practiced in Charlotte, North Carolina, representing clients all across the Charlotte metropolitan region.  After practicing in Charlotte, Mr. Hall moved his practice back home to the Catawba Valley area. 

 At Wake Forest University School of Law, Destin C. Hall excelled in the study of litigation, earning the top class grade in both trial practice and advanced trial practice. Mr. Hall was also awarded the North Carolina Advocates for Justice Award for being the most outstanding advocate in trial practice.  Additionally, he participated as a member of the Wake Forest American Association for Justice Trial Team.

 A native of Lenoir, North Carolina, Destin C. Hall graduated from West Caldwell High School, where he was a varsity athlete on both the baseball and soccer teams.
